of the free small business counseling services available
to you right here in Knox County.
SBDC (Small Business Development Center)
at Ashland University offers advice and training
in every aspect of small business ownership. From
help with business plan development to marketing;
accounting to strategic planning, the SBDC
is a one-stop resource for entrepreneurs.
SCORE (Service Core of Retired Executives)
is a partner of the Small Business Administration.
The Knox County chapter offers advice from volunteer
retired executives with experience in every aspect
of successful business ownership and management.
They're trained to ask you the questions you need
to answer before you invest in a business and will
assist you every step of the way.
The counseling is free and convenient. Both SBDC
and SCORE will meet with you at the offices
of the Mount Vernon-Knox County Chamber of Commerce
at 400 S. Gay St., Mount Vernon.
