  • Key Membership Benefits

    • Business Space: The Chamber will assist in finding available business space including land. If you have space for sale or lease, email details to chamber@knoxchamber.com and we’ll add it to our list.
    • Conference Room: Members may schedule the use of our conference room at no cost. Contact us for details.
    • Demographic/Economic Information: The Chamber provides free updated statistical information.
    • Event Planning: Whether you’re hosting an Open House, Ribbon Cutting, Groundbreaking, Customer Appreciation Day, or other events, the Chamber staff is experienced in helping you plan an event. You may request our Event Planning Suggestions or call our office to discuss your event.
    • Free Business Counseling: Offered at no cost, you may schedule a personal and confidential meeting with the Chamber’s executive director, SCORE, and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Existing businesses and those wanting to start a business will benefit from these free services.
    • Health Insurance: Receive a no-obligation quote for health insurance through Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance plan in Ohio, offering a large network of physicians and hospitals. For privacy and HIPAA compliance, members receive a list of local agents so they can have confidential meetings about their health insurance needs.
    • Hot Deals: “Shop Local, Shop Chamber Members First!” As a member, you may offer and receive exclusive discounts through our member-to-member deals. All members and their associates qualify to receive these discounts. That’s thousands of employees to welcome new and returning customers through your doors. You may offer one or multiple Hot Deals.     • Introductions: The power of networking! We will provide introductions through various methods to meet your target audience. Contact the executive director to discuss.
    • Mailing List: The Chamber’s membership list is available for free as an “Excel” attachment; or $25 for printed mailing labels to our member investors. We do keep e-mail addresses and employee numbers private. It’s great for mailings and to start creating your own database of area companies.
    • Membership Decal and Logo Usage: Your membership decal offers visibility and creditability to your business. If you would like  multiple decals for various entrances into your business, contact us and we’ll deliver them to your office. Chamber members are also welcome to display the Chamber logo on their website and brochures.
    • Notary Service and Export Certifications: Staff members are Notary Publics for the State of Ohio. We provide Notary service and stamps/embossing for Certificate of Origin for global shipping.
    • Promoting Your Business: We invite you to provide brochures and business cards for display in our lobby and distribution packets. Members may also add their events to the Chamber’s website calendar.
    • Resources and Orientation: We host quarterly orientation meetings for new and existing members. No cost to attend and includes discussions on making the most of your membership; tutorial on utilizing your username and password; and introductions to start building new professional relationships. Check our website calendar and newsletter for upcoming dates.
    • Ribbon Cuttings, Ground Breaking Ceremonies, Open House Events: If a business would like to schedule one of these ceremonies, contact the Chamber office to discuss and schedule. We’ll help you plan the perfect event.
    • Website: Members receive a free listing including a link to their website, business description, telephone, address, and “hidden” e-mail option. Enhance your listing by adding key words. Our site is specifically designed for chambers of commerce and “married” to our database so your information is always current when edits are made. 
    • Workers Comp Insurance Savings: Save money on workers’ compensation premiums by enrolling in our group rating plan. The Chamber endorses Sedgwick and we have a long-standing relationship with them. Save up to 53% on your premiums. Sedgwick can also serve as your MCO - Managed Care Organization.     Publications

    • Membership Directory: Membership Directory is published annually and distributed throughout the county. It is great exposure for promoting your products and services.  
    • Newsletter: Business Broadcast is a monthly, digital newsletter sent to more than 1100 people. Content includes trainings, events, networking opportunities, member news, events and more. It’s just one way to stay connected with your Chamber. 
    • Plat Books: The Chamber sells Knox County Plat Books. Stop in our office M-F to purchase. Major credit cards accepted.

    Educational and Networking Opportunities

    • Resources! We are more than 400 members strong with experts in many fields. Tell us your needs and we have the resources to direct you to the right person. We provide introductions, will do research for you, and maintain confidentiality.
    • Business Boost: Held in April, July, and October. These morning meetings are true networking events. Bring a stack of business cards for distribution. Attendees will participate in a fun exercise exchanging cards and meeting everyone in the room.
    • Coffee With The Chamber: Held in February, May, and November. Designed for the small businesses, experts provide information and answer questions on a variety of topics. Topics may include: Accounting, Health Insurance, Taxes, Workers’ Compensation, Legal Matters, Insurance Coverage for Your Business, QuickBooks, and more. We welcome topic suggestions.
    • Educators Breakfast: Business leaders and educators from pre-school to higher learning come together to kick off the academic year with introductions of school superintendents, directors, college and university presidents, and educators new to Knox County.
    • Golf: Each May the Chamber’s Spring Swing Golf Outing is held the Thursday before Memorial Day. This four-person scramble is a fun day with food, gifts, proximity prizes, team prizes, and more. It’s also a great day to volunteer.
    • Junior Fair Breakfast: This annual event is held in July with proceeds benefiting the Junior Fair awards. Our members are invited to hear about their projects and honor the youth for their dedicated work preparing for the Knox County Fair.
    • Safety Council: Each month this BWC sponsored program is facilitated by the Chamber to encourage safe practices in the workplace. Visit: knoxchamber.com/safety-council to learn more.
    • Trainings: The Chamber works with employers to provide local, expert training. We can help arrange on-site training and will also host local classes. Workforce development is vital to your business and we welcome suggestions for future class topics.
    • Volunteering: The Chamber has committees and opportunities to volunteer at events. It’s great visibility for you and your company while contributing to our work. Contact our office to learn more.
    • WorkDev: The Chamber is a member of the workforce development group (WorkDev) represented by area leaders and school superintendents. We work with business owners, job seekers, and students identifying gaps and provide resources and solutions. WorkDev reviews current trends, training needs, student career path education, and more.
    • Young Professionals: Are you between the ages of 21 and 45? Join Knox County Young Professionals for networking, philanthropy, and professional development. Visit: knoxchamber.com/get-involved for more information.

    This bundle package allows active members to conveniently pay once a year for their membership investment, sponsorships, and Marketing Package. Champion Partners are featured on the Chamber’s website and throughout the year. Contact our office for a custom Champion Partners package.

    • Marketing Package is an annual renewal and is non-refundable.
    • Banner ad on one page of the Chamber website.
    • Company logo on Chamber website under your listing.
    • Expanded business description.

    Newsletter Banner Ad

    • $25/month or $60/three months.
    • If interested in a specific month, let us know. Otherwise, your ad will be placed in the next edition.
    • Size must be 450 (long) by 50 (high) pixels.

    Website Banner Ad

    • $125/three months or $250/six months.
    • If interested in a specific month to begin the ad, let us know. Otherwise, your ad will begin the month following receipt of your ad.
    • Website Banner Ads run for three or six months consecutively. Size must be 450 (long) by 50 (high) pixels.

    6. Chamber Directory Advertising – Will be sent to the membership in the fall

    Members may advertise in our glossy, full-color Community Profile and Membership Directory. Chamber members will be notified in the fall with ad sizes and costs. More than 800 directories are distributed each year. Be sure to update your business description as needed.
