Dogwood Blossoms presents Love in the Magic Queendom: A Rollercoaster Romance
Music, romance, intrigue, and a bit of magic make this chorus-driven romp a can’t-miss experience! This is an original bewitching comedy musical script written by Jeff Dolan.
The Magic Queendom Amusement Park is the setting for this bewitching musical featuring the theatrical talents of Mount Vernon's Dogwood Blossoms women's barbershop chorus.
Join us for an afternoon of "defying gravity" on the Rollercoaster of Romance at the historical Woodward Opera House!
For alas, love will cast its spell on the dashing Billy and beautiful Bonnie when they meet at the Magic Queendom. But alas--someone wicked vows to keep them apart! Can Bonnie's friends work some of "that old black magic" to bring about a happy ending for all? Or will Billy and Bonnie spend the rest of their lives being "bewitched, bothered and bewildered?"
With special appearances by the award-winning Daybreak Quartet from Pittsburgh, PA, and the Mount Vernon High School choirs, the afternoon will have you spellbound in your seats.
