Family Nature Quest: Nature Journaling, Sounds of the Prairie
Though we often seek it out for peace and quiet, nature is brimming with noise. Autumn brings bird and frog calls, wind rustling through leaves, squirrels scampering up trees… the sounds of our surroundings are just waiting to be noticed. Discover these sounds and more as we use all of our senses to create vibrant sound maps of the prairie. Bring a nature journal if you have one. Meet at the Picnic Shelter.
