Knox County Historical Society: Peeling Back History
Join the Knox County Historical Society, May 3rd 7:30PM-8:30PM, for our FREE program on antique apple peelers!
Mr. John Lambert (Utica, Ohio) began his collection more than 40 years ago soon after learning that more than 200 patents had been issued for apple peelers since the 1800’s. He will be showing many examples, both large and small, from his extensive collection that now numbers over 200 fascinating “apple paring” mechanical devices.
Open to the public, and all persons interested in area history are invited to attend. For more information, call the Museum at 740-393-5247 or visit the website at www.knoxhistory.org.
